Sai Ketan Rao talks about his upcoming Telugu film Pellikuturu Party

Actor Sai Ketan Rao, who became a household name after playing the male lead on Star Plus’ show Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali as Raghav Rao, will soon be seen in an upcoming Telugu-language film titled Pellikuturu Party.
The actor is quite psyched up about the film. Talking about his character in it, he told a publication, “The character is quite interesting. You will not see me as Raghav Rao, the angry young man; he was straight on the point and quite aggressive. The character here is frustrated about everything. He has everything in his life but is unable to achieve it. His frustration will be projected in a comical way so this would be an interesting side to portray on screen.”
Rao shot for the film during the coronavirus-induced lockdown in 2020. Sharing his learnings from the lockdown, the actor said, “Lockdown taught me a lot of things. I was completely broke during that phase as I had exhausted my finances. I learnt about personality development. I remember when I got the call from the casting director for this film, he revealed that the character is the second lead. I agreed to it. After reading the details, I was really excited about the film.”
