Samantha Ruth Prabhu RECALLS How South Stars Struggled To Get Designer Outfits

The actress recently disclosed that there was a time when she and other performers from the south were disrespected. She is presently preparing for her much anticipated film ‘Shaakuntalam’.

In an interview, Samantha Ruth Prabhu complimented the advancements achieved by the South industry in recent years but also acknowledged that there was a time when South musicians were not treated with respect. "It's absolutely wonderful," she exclaimed. Sometimes we couldn't get clothes from designers because they were like, 'Who are you?' South actor? "What do you mean, South?" "We've come a long way from there, haven't we?" the actress said. This inclusiveness is incredible, and we've finally arrived."

Designer Neeta Lulla created approximately 3,000 outfits for the actors, supporting cast and young performers in Samantha's upcoming movie "Shaakuntalam." For those who are unaware, Samantha Ruth Prabhu was battling with her divorce from ex-husband Naga Chaitanya when she received the news that she had an autoimmune disease last year.
