Sita Ramam star Dulquer Salmaan talks about his bond with Mahanati co-star Vijay Deverakonda

Dulquer Salmaan starrer Sita Ramam, a romantic love story has already hit the theatres. The actor was seen promoting the film in full swing. South star Vijay Deverakonda had recently claimed on Koffee with Karan 7 that he and Dulquer Salmaan would have made excellent friends if they had lived in the same city since they have the same vibe. At a pre-release event for his movie Sita Ramam, Dulquer Salmaan responded to this by saying, "There's no competition, but more love and respect for each other." Recently, Vijay Deverakonda also attended the "Sita Ramam Swaralu" music event hosted by Dulquer Salmaan, Mrunal Thakur, and Rashmika Mandanna

The Kurup actor added, "I think we have a very intense connection. We are similar in terms of vibe and there are certain people you know are gonna be your people. From the time we met or had our conversations during Mahanati, we were there for each other. There's no competition but more love and respect for each other. We are in touch, not all the time but whenever we speak, there is lots of love and respect. Probably, the energy is right." Prior to this, Vijay and Dulquer collaborated on the 2018 movie Mahanati. In the film, Dulquer Salmaan portrayed Gemini Ganesan, and Vijay Deverakonda starred opposite Samantha as a photographer.

Sita Ramam starring the OK Kanmani actor and Mrunal Thakur will show their romantic relationship taking place against a background of war. The 1960s–1980s time period drama, in which Rashmika Mandanna plays multiple roles, is already drawing a lot of attention for its music and original plot.
