STR48: Kamal Haasan Starts Shooting For The Highly Anticipated Movie (View PICS)

Silambarasan TR has paired up with Desingh Periyasamy for his upcoming project. The film ‘Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithal,’ starring Dulquer Salmaan, is well known for its director. The movie is being financed by Kamal Haasan through his company, Raaj Kamal Films. The shoot, tentatively titled 'STR48,' has officially started.

On Twitter, the movie's producers posted a few images of Simbu alongside Kamal Haasan and director Desingh. The Pathu Thala is pictured with a black shirt, cream trousers and a long haircut. The actor is reportedly undergoing a significant makeover for the movie. He apparently learned martial arts in Thailand and is undergoing rigorous training for the movie in London.

The cast and crew of 'STR48' have yet to be revealed in full. Anirudh Ravichander will compose the music, as was previously announced. However, the source revealed, “It’s an out-and-out action film in the period set up and director Desingh Periyasamy plans to mount it as the biggest STR film till date. The estimated budget of the film will be around Rs 100 crore, thereby emerging the costliest film of STR’s career. It features STR in a dual role, and both the characters have their own distinct identity.”

Silambarasan TR, an accomplished actor, is currently enjoying the pleasure of his successful second acting run. 'Maanandu' and 'Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu,' the actor's most recent two films, were huge commercial triumphs. According to reports, Simbu is in negotiations to take the lead part in the next fantasy film directed by AR Murugadoss.
