Suriya to begin filming Ravi Kumar’s next in 2024

According to reports, Tamil superstar Suriya will kick-start his next film with director Ravi Kumar in 2024. To be mounted on a huge scale, the upcoming film is a science fiction drama.

While Ravi Kumar and the team completed all the preliminary work last year only, the project will take a little time before hitting the shooting floors. The team requires some time for the pre-production work.

Suriya, on the other hand, also has a number of projects in his hand. He is presently filming for his next, which National Award-winning filmmaker Bala is helming. The actor is also collaborating with director Vetrimaaran on a film. Titled Vadivasal, the film is expected to go before cameras soon.

Since Suriya has his hands full with a couple of films, he wants to complete his prior commitments before commencing work on Ravi Kumar’s next, which is said to be based on a world after 50 years. Dream Warrior Pictures is bankrolling the high-profile film.

Meanwhile, Ravi Kumar is currently waiting for the theatrical release of his upcoming directorial Ayalaan, starring Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role.
