Telugu actor Varun Tej and his fiancee Lavanya Tripathi exchanged engagement vows in a private ceremony on June 9, 2023. Renowned actors including Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, and Chiranjeevi, among others, graced the occasion. Niharika Konidela, a gifted actress and sister of Varun, also joined in the festivities, while Chaitanya Jonnalagadda was conspicuously absent. This absence led to fresh rumours about the couple's alleged divorce, which had been going around the internet for a while. Niharika posted lovely pictures from the engagement ceremony to her Instagram account, where she looked stunning in a beautiful light blue saree. While Lavanya enthralled everyone with a lovely pistachio green saree, Varun chose an attractive ivory kurta.
