The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has requested that Vijay Deverakonda be questioned about his most recent release of Liger financing after it was suggested that the movie's creators may have broken the FEMA Act (Foreign Exchange Management Act). According to reports, the movie's funding came from a foreign source, which is why he was questioned. Vijay was also subjected to a 12-hour grilling after Charmee Kaur and Puri Jagannadh.

During a recent interview, the Liger actor acknowledged being questioned for 12 hours, stating, "You have no control over the difficulties that come with enormous notoriety. However, to me, this is an experience. When they called, I responded appropriately. I went and responded to their questions". While it was previously claimed that Puri Connects sustained a significant loss due to Liger's box office failure and Puri Jagannadh's decision to take a break from filmmaking.

Ramya Krishnan, known for Baahubali, was also in Liger, and it now appears she will follow. At the same time, the ED can also call the leading actress Ananya Panday. After Liger's release, many Vijay Deverakonda fans criticized the movie as a waste of time and even questioned why he created such a bad movie. Mike Tyson, paid a hefty sum for his role in the show, almost forgot that he was done with a film like Liger when it failed badly at the box office worldwide.
