Actor Vijay Sethupathi is winning laurels for his performance in Vikram, which released on 3 June. The actor is now looking forward to his next release, the long-delayed film Maamanithan, which is all set to hit cinemas on June 23.

As per latest updates, Vijay Sethupathi will be playing a negative character again. And this time, it is going to be in a film featuring Mahesh Babu.

Reports state that Vijay has reportedly been approached for playing the antagonist in the film, which will be directed by Trivikram and features Mahesh Babu and Pooja Hegde in lead roles. However, an official confirmation in this regard is yet to be made.

Coming to professional front, Vijay Sethupathi has a couple of big-ticket releases coming up in the near future. He is currently shooting for the film Merry Christmas, which marks his Bollywood debut and also features Katrina Kaif.
