International Women’s Day means different things for different people. While some believe it is futile to celebrate just one day and not care for their emotions for the rest of the year, others believe the celebrations are important to remind women of their power and importance.

Here are a few comments from the Stars of &TV's popular show Agnifera, produced by Ravi Raj and Roshan Lal. We reached out to them with few questions related to gender equality, need for Women's Day celebrations, inspiring women characters on television and much more.

I believe we as human are all equal. I don’t differentiate between genders since every human has their individual skill set and the masters in their own. So what’s the difference between humans is the skills and not gender. So everyone should be treated equal. The only reason I feel we should celebrate this day is for a reason. I believe is Women’s are more patient and carry more responsibility than the guys.

I am not a much TV person and rarely get time to watch any serials but I feel even if I watch it would be none other than my co-star Yukti Kapoor’s character (Ragini) since that clearly shows how strong a woman can be. She plays a woman who stood by the family and her husband in the most difficult situations.

To all the ladies out there, respect to everyone and to their profession and special thanks to the home makers since they play the most important role.

With Women's Day around the corner, I would like to say that in today's world woman are equally successful as men and have broken the proverbial glass ceiling at work and few examples are Indira Nooyi and Chanda Kocchar who have become leaders of world's biggest and best organizations which just proves that when a woman wants to achieve anything then nothing is impossible for her. Women's Day is a special day to recognize the achievements of all of us women in different spheres. My message to all the women is that nothing is impossible for us as we should believe in ourselves as we are trendsetters and achievers.

Gender Equality is important as we should have respect for every individual irrespective to their cast, color, religion. It's important to celebrate Women's Day as there are still many women who are not able to stand themselves, for their rights and it’s a need to let them know that they are very important in this world.

For me, the most inspiring character on television would be my on screen wife (Simran Kaur) and Bhabhi (Yukti Kapoor). I think Both Ragini and Srishti are maintaining their relations well. They stand up for their family.

My message for all the pretty ladies out there is that just know that you are important and we need you in our Life.
