Gauri Pradhan is all set to make her comeback on Colors TV with Tu Aashiqui!

Remember Gauri Pradhan as Nandini Virani from Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi? Well, as per the sources suggest Gauri soon will be making a comeback on the television and this time around she has a new shade to offer to her fans! Apparently, Gauri will be seen in a negative role on Tu Aashiqui and be playing Anita, the mother of the main lead. Though Gauri says that people might just hate her for her role in the show and we quite agree with her on that as per the trailer below!

Telling more about her role, “This show is different and exciting for me. I’m playing an out-and-out negative role which I haven’t done in my career before and even never been offered to me too. And as an actor, I feel you should do all kinds of roles and I am looking forward to the audience’s reaction. I signed up only because I was given a negative role.”

In her first phase of career, she played more of a sanskari image or a down to earth and shy shaded characters! Even in her second television series, Kutumb as Gauri Mittal, she played a character that as sweet tone and mostly victimized by the antagonist. Hence it would be good to see such drastic transitions in the acting pallet and talking on a new challenge, especially when an actor begins her second innings in the industry! The show Tu Aashiqui is produced by Viacom 18 and the first show will be aired on 20th September on colors and the storyline of the series will be a passionate love story inspired from Aditya Roy Kapoor’ character from the film Aashiqui 2. It would be interesting to see Gauri Pradhan in a vamp avatar and how the story of the show turned out to be!
