Rajat Tokas to team up with Ekta Kapoor for Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham remake on TV?

Buzz has it that popular television star Rajat Tokas, who is known for his great looks and impeccable acting talent, has been approached to headline one of Ekta Kapoor’s many upcoming shows. Said to be an official adaptation of Karan Johar’s blockbuster film Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, the show has reportedly been in the works at Balaji Telefilms for quite some time now. Though the makers have yet not locked the final cast, some sources reveal to an entertainment portal that Rajat is indeed a part of it.

Rajat, who gained prominence in the entertainment space after playing the lead character in Sagar Pictures’ Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan, has become a blue-eyed boy of Balaji Telefilms over the years. The actor has collaborated with Ekta Kapoor on three shows, namely Jodha Akbar, Chandra Nandni and the upcoming Naagin 3. If he is indeed doing the TV adaptation of Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, it will mark his fourth collaboration with the leading TV and film producer.

However, when Rajat was asked about his association with the show, he shared, “No, I am not aware about it.”

An official announcement is awaited.
