After Nakuul Mehta, his co-actor Disha Parmar BOW OUT from Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2; Read her statement below!

After Nakuul Mehta announced his departure from Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 with Ekta Kapoor, his co-star Disha Parmar too made the decision to leave the well-known daily soap. In the show, the two previously portrayed Ram Kapoor and Priya, respectively.

DISHA STATED IN AN INTERVIEW

Disha spoke candidly about her choice to leave the show in a recent interview. She stated that it is time to move on to new activities after being associated with the show for more than a year. She told E times, "I had my doubts when the producers added a leap and I had to play the mother of a five-year-old girl. The song was interesting, though, and I liked it.”

The actress said she feels she has given everything to the role and that it is time to move on now that Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 is taking a 20-year break. "I wouldn't say I'm leaving the show; rather, I'm moving on to new endeavours and fresh starts. I had a wonderful time seeing Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2," Disha continued.

DISHA ON ACKNOWLEDGING HER ROLE

Disha also acknowledged that monotony can set in with shows and that it takes a lot of work to produce an episode every day. The actress spoke on the song from Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 and said that the show's content was the reason it lasted so long and that it had a lot to explore. Although she acknowledged that she occasionally had terrible days, she generally loved portraying Priya. Disha also thinks that Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 was a perfect example of how television has evolved and progressed beyond sassy bahu politics. Although she believes that television content has improved, there is still much room for improvement.

NAKUUL MEHTA STATED

Days prior, Nakuul Mehta also announced his departure from the programme and said he had nothing fresh to offer. He told Hindustan Times, "I believe there is nothing fresh I can add to the plot as it moves forward. I shall miss playing Ram.”
