Alka Yagnik got emotional reminiscing about her father on ‘Superstar Singer’ 2

Sony Entertainment has promised a musical extravaganza with ‘Superstar Singer’ season 2. In a Father’s special episode contestants gave a heartfelt performance dedicated to their fathers and father figures.

After the performance of Sayisha a contestant, Alka Yagnik got emotional and shared, "Looking at Sayisha and her father’s bond reminds me of my father today. I miss him so much as I lost him very early. The way Sayisha and her father were having the conversation, I got flashbacks of my childhood masti with my father. Sayisha sang this song extremely well, and she looks exactly like her dad and I must say it is her parents' blessing which has brought her here. I am sure she has a very bright future, God bless her.”

The episode also had Arjun Kapoor and Disha Patani as star guests. They were promoting their upcoming film ‘Ek Villain Returns’. The actors were moved by the performances and expressed their praises for each performance they witnessed.
