Another day and another ‘KBC’ contestant shocks host Amitabh Bachchan

India's beloved quiz show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ is back with season 14. Amitabh Bachchan is back as the host and as always entertains everyone playing the game with conversations. Recently Amitabh Bachchan was left puzzled when the contestant refused to use her prize money to gift anything to her husband. 

Dr. Anu Varghese, a dermatologist from Bengaluru, was accompanied by her husband who was seated in the audience cheering her on. In a recent promo. Dr Anu crossed the massive Rs. 75 lakh 'padaav,' but said she wouldn't gift anything to her husband. Amitabh Bachchan asked Dr Anu after winning the ₹50 lakh question what she would gift her husband from the prize money. He was shocked when she said 'nothing.' The host repeated his question when the whole audience applauded her for winning ₹75 lakh question.

She then revealed that the reason is, "Sir wo khud mujhe gift nahi dete na (It's because he never gives me a gift)." The promo ended with a cliffhanger on her attempting the ₹1 crore prize money question.
