Vanraj's second wife Kavya is portrayed by Madalsa Sharma. She admitted to having a Tom and Jerry-like bond with him in an interview. The same can be seen in the reels they produce. She made mention of how much she loves working with Sudhanshu Pandey. Even Madalsa applauded his acting skills and referred to him as the star of the production. She claimed that Sudhanshu Pandey does full justice to his character, which is what makes Anupamaa intriguing. She reportedly said, "Vanraj Shah is the leading man of our show and he’s been carrying the show wonderfully well. He’s responsible for making Anupamaa interesting because of his characterisation and Sudhanshu is doing true justice to the part with his performance," according to the actor. We ponder whether Anuj Kapadia's followers concur.

The actress also discussed the song video in which she and Sudhanshu Pandey are featured. She added that they had shot in Gujarat at uncharted locales.
