In the coming episode of Bigg Boss 16, Shiv Thakare chooses Priyanka Choudhary over his friend Nimrit Ahluwalia for the final week ticket. Nimrit received a key to the final without performing the task. She was also not affected by the nomination, as Bigg Boss stated that all contestants could compete for the final ticket and steal it from Nimrit. According to a promo shared by the channel, Bigg Boss voice asks which contestant deserves a ticket to the final instead of Nimrit. Sumbul Touqeer Khan names her after her Shiv, while MC Stan chooses his best friend, Shiv Thakare. Shiv picks the name of MC Stan, having a natural personality, and in another name, he chooses Priyanka Chahar Choudhary over Nimrit and says, "Doosra Naam mera Priyanka. Strong personality lagti hai Pehle din se (She seems strong from day 1)." This makes Priyanka wide open.

Nimrit is also shocked by the statements, and she keeps laughing and adds, "Jo hass rahe hain naa log, yeh bhi yahi hain main bhi (Those who are laughing are here, and so am I)." Netizens have thought Priyanka is the most deserving candidate, and now it's like Nimrit's best buddy Shiv also agrees. Some of them also thought Archana Gautam deserved to get a ticket to the finale.
