On the first day of ‘Bigg Boss OTT 2’, many interesting things happened. Puneet Superstar's constant rants kept upsetting the other housemates and making things tense. Pooja Bhatt was honest when she talked about her struggle with drinking and said that she beat it at the age of 44. Pooja pointed out the double standard in society, which is that men get less criticism when they talk about their efforts to stop drinking, while women face more problems. She said that she liked being open about her recovery and would say out loud that she was a recovering drinker whenever the subject came up.

Puneet Superstar told Cyrus Broacha that he was a "Sakht Launda" (a tough guy) and that he had never been in a love relationship. He said that he had never made close friends with girls and that girls had never tried to get close to him. When asked if he was a virgin, Puneet shocked everyone by saying that he was.
