Charu Asopa speaks about her divorce from husband Rajeev Sen and says ‘Nothing left in our marriage anymore’

Nearly immediately after being married in 2019, actors Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen experienced issues in their marriage. Despite their brief separation during the first pandemic wave in 2020, they are currently on the verge of divorcing one another.

Since their nuptials, Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen have encountered issues in their marriage. After a fight and a brief separation, they eventually reconciled. The pair was frequently featured in the news for this, which had nearly started to become a habit. But this time, it appears like the couple is on the verge of divorcing because things have come to a standstill. Speaking, candidly about her intention to end her relationship with Rajeev, Charu claims that she issued him a notification on June 7 asking him to do so gently.

In a recent interview, Charu clarified that nothing is left between them. She said, “Everyone knows that we have been having problems in our marriage for the past three years, since the time we tied the knot. But I kept giving him chances. Earlier, it was for me and then for our daughter but I don't know how giving yet another chance led to three years of this. He has trust issues and I can't take it anymore. I sent him a simple notice asking for an amicable separation, as there is nothing left in our relationship. I want to part ways because I don't want my daughter to grow up in a toxic and abusive environment. I don't want her to see people hurling abuses at each other,”

On the other hand, Rajeev claims, “It was clearly a secret loop hidden from all of us. So, this came as a shock to me, and it shook me up badly. Three years of marriage and I had no clue. I understand it was her past but she should have at least told me and I would have accepted it with respect.”
