Balaji Telefilms’ head honcho Ekta Kapoor is on cloud nine as Kumkum Bhagya has become her 1st television show to cross the milestone of 2000 episodes. Yes, the show which airs on ZEE TV has completed 2000 episodes.

Kapoor has produced some of the most iconic television shows over the years. Some of them ran for years, but with Kumkum Bhagya clocking 2000 episodes, the producer has added a new feather to her creative cap.

Kumkum Bhagya hit the airwaves on April 15, 2014, and became a top-rated show on Indian television in absolutely no time. Led by Shabbir Ahluwalia and Sriti Jha, the show has been entertaining the audience for seven years now. It has just hit 2000 episodes, which is an incredible feat for everyone associated with the show.
