On February 22, 2017, Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim exchanged vows during a traditional nikah ceremony. Their marriage was a complete farce because the couple won everyone over with their charming connection and never-ending good times.

Dipika Changed Her Name On Her Wedding Day

As their marriage was interfaith, there were persistent rumours that Dipika had changed her name and converted to Islam in order to wed. This was later demonstrated by the identification of Dipika as Faiza in a photo of their invitation card.

But, when a report revealed that Dipika had solely used the name Faiza for their wedding invites, those rumours and the image of their invitation card were put to rest. It was also made clear that Dipika will only change her name to include the surname Ibrahim.

A spokesperson close to the couple stated: “She has not converted her religion. Her name is Dipika Kakar only. She will change it to Dipika Ibrahim. I spoke to them personally. They have used Faiza only for the invitation cards.”

For instance, Shoaib and Dipika both thoroughly enjoyed themselves on March 7, 2023, when the couple celebrated Holi.
