Gurmeet Choudhary gets INJURED while he save his wife Debina Bonnerjee from the crowd; Check out for what happened!

Actor Gurmeet Choudhary of "Khamoshiyan" was hurt while attempting to shield his wife Debina Bonnerjee from crowds who surrounded her in Mumbai.

As soon as Gurmeet finished his live performance, admirers flocked to the couple to grab photographs with them. Gurmeet was able to free his wife and get her safely to their car, although he injured his leg in the process.

GURMEET STATED ABOUT HIS CONDITION

Gurmeet told IANS: "After the performance, many fans gathered backstage. There was a huge crowd and they reached the stage to click pictures, it became difficult to balance myself and even my leg got twisted. Had to save Debina and other fans also from getting injured because many times it happens due to excitement in such a crowd that people get injured so anyhow we managed to move out of it saving other fans as well."

GURMEET ON THE WORK FRONT

Gurmeet made his Bollywood debut with the horror and psychological thriller "Khamoshiyan," and he has since appeared in a number of TV programmes.

He is well-known for playing Rama in "The Ramayana," and he has also appeared in "Geet - Hui Sabse Parayi," "Punar Vivaah" and "Zindagi Milegi Dobara," as well as emerging as the winner “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa” Season 5.
