Janam Janam Ka Saath: Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 Fame Sneha Jain To Play The Lead In The TV Show

Actress Sneha Jain, who was last seen in ‘Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2’, will be seen playing the lead role in Janam Janam Ka Saath.

The actress says, "I will be playing the lead character Payal in the show Janam Janam Ka Saath. I have just started shooting for the show and I am enjoying it.”

As per sources, Nikki Sharma, who was playing the role of Vidhi on the show, had to quit owing to health issues. Ask Sneha about it and she says, “I don’t have any idea about that. I just got a call from the production and I auditioned for it and got the part. I was aware that I will be replacing another actress who was already playing this part. But I took it up because I liked the role.”

Does stepping into the shoes of a character played by another actor for a while get difficult? Sneha says, “It is surely tougher to step into somebody's shoes because the audience is used to watching her in that role. I won’t copy her but will work on matching up to her so that many nuances of the character aren’t lost. I am working on the dialect and body language of the character as she belongs to a Marwari family, so I need to learn how they talk.”

She further adds, “Even when I was doing ‘Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2’, the audience didn’t accept me at first because they were used to watching another actress play Gopi’s role. But later with time, viewers accepted me.”
