The popular television pair Mahhi Vij and Jay Bhanushali have always been present on social media, entertaining their followers with stunning images and endearing videos of their children. Their daughter Tara recently experienced online harassment, which caused debate.

For their daughter Tara, the pair had set up an Instagram account, where they frequently posted amusing videos. One of these videos featured Tara doing the Namaz, which was meant to make her parents happy and pleased. The video, however, drew unanticipated criticism from some online users who chastised Mahhi Vij and Jay Bhanushali for exposing their daughter to a different religion.

Mahhi Vij made the decision to confront the trolls head-on and defend her daughter and her parenting decisions. She aired her opinions on social media, saying that these trolls are mocking religious practices for their own small-minded motives. People who can't appreciate other faiths, she argued, should just stop following Tara's account because she doesn't need any haters in her life. Mahhi advised the narrow-minded people to broaden their minds and hearts, suggesting that they should find something worthwhile to focus on instead of inciting hatred. As a mother, Mahhi is aware of what she is teaching her daughter.

Mahhi stressed in a strong statement that people shouldn't worry about how her daughter will be raised since, as a responsible mother, she is aware of her obligations and what she imparts to her child. She also expressed her sorrow at the overwhelming hostility she had seen. Mahhi pleaded with them to put their own kids' upbringing first and stop worrying about her daughter.

Mahhi Vij posted a second video on social media showing her and Tara praying in a temple in reaction to the bullies. This action was probably intended to emphasise the value of embracing all religions and encouraging tolerance and respect for all faiths.

Despite the trolls, many of Mahhi's supporters rallied around her and praised her for instilling in her daughter principles that respect all religions. Some applauded her for having the strength to confront the haters, referring to it as "a flying chappal on haters face" to show their support.

Unfortunately, the couple has had to deal with this kind of abuse from trolls before. Mahhi came under fire earlier this year for permitting Tara to wear lipstick to Bharti Singh's son Laksh's birthday party.
