Bigg Boss 16 had its grand finale on February 12, and MC Stan became the winner after surviving 135 days in the house by showing his unfiltered personality. He picked up the stunning trophy of Bigg Boss season 16 and won Hyundai grand i10 Nios, Rs 31 lakh and 80 thousand as the prize money. Many contestants were unhappy after his win. Ankit Gupta was sad for his close friend who got evicted at third place in the show. He spoke about MC Stan winning the trophy of Bigg Boss 16 house.

In a recent interview, Ankit Gupta stated, "I would just say that for you to win the show, you actually have to do nothing (Laughs)." Ankit denied that MC Stan's win was unfair to everyone and said it was not unfair because he won the show by audience votes. He revealed that people liked MC Stan's personality. Therefore, he got many votes. Ankit also mentioned expecting Priyanka Chahar Choudhary to win Bigg Boss 16. He said, "It's not necessary that if our expectations did not get fulfilled, then it is unfair. We had different expectations, that's it."

Similar to Ankit Gupta, his co-star and co-contestant from the Bigg Boss 16 house, Gautam Singh Vig, spoke about MC Stan winning:-

Gautam Singh Vig said, "The way she came out, her body language, the confidence, everything speaks volumes that she handled everything with grace. She was not at all sad." He also exclaimed that winning hearts is important, and Priyanka managed to do that. "Trophy uthane se koi winner ban jaata toh kya he baat hoti," Gautam mentioned that the person who wins hearts is a major sign of a good human being and goes much ahead in life and career.
