KBC contestant brings girlfriend as his companion; Amitabh Bachchan shocked

Amitabh Bachchan is back in the form of a host on the much-loved quiz show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 14’. The show allows members of society to win large sums of money upon answering general knowledge questions correctly within the rules. The show has enjoyed the megastar as its host and so do the viewers. The show started its new season on television on the 7th of August. The first episode was in celebration of Indian heroes, particularly 'Protectors of India' and those who represented the country on international levels. In a recent promo, we see Amitabh Bachchan baffled when he finds out a contestant has his girlfriend accompanying him.

The show's makers dropped a new promo, in it the beloved host is seen interacting with the contestant in the hot seat as he usually does. The contestant Ayush Garg, who is an engineer from IIT Roorkee was asked whom he has brought with him as a companion. Ayush replied, his girlfriend. The stunned host shared, “People generally bring their mother or father as a companion, but this is the first time I am hearing that you have brought your girlfriend. Wow!! Where did you meet her?” To everyone’s surprise, Ayush shared how he had expected Amitabh to be shocked but not so much. This made Amitabh Bachchan burst into laughter.

Going back to the first episode of the show, it hosted Aamir Khan and Major D.P. Singh, a veteran of the Kargil War, and Col. Mitali Madhumita, a recipient of the Sena Medal Gallantry on the hot seats. The guests donated their winnings to Army Central Welfare. According to the recent promo, the quiz show will not only have challenging questions but also entertain with comedic conversations.
