On the new season of The Kapil Sharma Show, actor Kiku Sharda has introduced himself as Gudiya Laundry wali. A fresh promo for the upcoming season of the Kapil Sharma-hosted show was shared by Kiku on his Instagram page. The comedian-actor posted the promo and wrote, “10th September har Sat-Sun raat 9:30 baje se, #TheKapilSharmaShow mein Gudiya ki harr entry par bajegi sabke dilon mein ghanti!”

Kiku had earlier mentioned in an interview how Kapil Sharma Show has done him good saying, “It changed a lot of things for me. See I believe, I was a good actor even before that, but now I have become popular. I’ll tell you frankly, in the beginning when I used to see Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and Nach Baliye, I wanted to be a participant in those shows, but nobody called me for it. Why? (I would be told) ‘Kyunki aap actor bade acche ho, lekin aap itne bade nahi ho, aap celebrity nahi ho abhi tak. Aap actor ho (You are a very nice actor but you aren't a big actor. You are not a celebrity)’."

Krushna Abhishek revealed that he will not be appearing on The Kapil Sharma Show, despite a number of old characters making a comeback. On the show, Krushna portrayed a number of roles, including Dharmendra, Jackie Dada, and Sapna. In the meantime, Kapil will portray Kappu Sharma in the following season, and Sumona will play his wife Bindu. Gudiya will be portrayed by Kiku, and Chandan Prabhakar will play Kappu's pal Chandan. Srishty Rode, Gaurav Dubey, Ishtiyak Khan, Sidharth Sagar, and Srikant G Maski are the new set of comedians to join the cast of the show.
