Nakuul Mehta rubbishes rumours of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 getting the axe

Popular television actor Nakuul Mehta has refuted the rumours of his show Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 going off-air. The tinsel town of television had been buzzing with the reports of the show getting the axe for a while now.

Some media outlets recently reported that Sony Entertainment Television has decided to pull the plug on the show due to poor performance on TRP charts, adding that it will broadcast its final episode on 18th December, 2021.

However, when a digital publication got in touch with Nakuul Mehta and asked him if Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 is really going off-air, the actor denied baseless reports and said, “It is not true.”

As the title clearly suggests, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 is the second installment of Ekta Kapoor’s hit show Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. The first season was a huge success among the audience and had a glorious run of about three years.

It featured Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar in the role of a mature couple who accidentally discovers love after getting married. Bade Achhe Lagte Hain was the seventh most-watched television show of 2011 in India.

Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2, which was launched with much fanfare in August, also stars Disha Parmar in the lead role.
