Following six years of marriage, she and her ex-husband divorced after she accused him of domestic violence.

Dalljiet Kaur and Nikhil Patel married on Saturday in Mumbai, capping off a week of wedding festivities that included mehendi, haldi, and sangeet. The couple released a few photographs from their wedding ceremony, and they are nothing short of gorgeous. The actress looked stunning in a red and white lehenga, while her husband looked dashing in a white sherwani.
Dalljiet And Nikhil’s Special Message
The couple who got married for the second time is hopelessly in love. Their families have also become one. Their story is nothing less than a fairy tale. Not everyone finds love again and again but we shouldn’t lose hope. And this is what the actress has spoken about in her recent post. Dalljiet penned a special message on her Instagram for all the widowed and divorced asking them not to lose hope ever.
Her Instagram post’s caption began with the word, “Umeed Means Hope” and it further read, “Agar dream karne ki himmat hai to usse poora karne ki bhi hogi. When life pulls you down and society tries persuading you and giving you a million negative reasons why you shouldn’t do it…. that’s exactly why you should! Don’t let anyone define your life. You only have one life to live, so give it everything that you have. Let your kids, friends & family know that happiness is not defined by stereotypes, it’s defined by experiences and what comes from them.”
