Preeti Chaudhary bags Ekta Kapoor’s Yeh Hai Chahatein

Star Plus’ show Yeh Hai Chahatein is the absolute favourite of the audience. Produced by Ekta Kapoor under the banner of Balaji Telefilms, the show has been entertaining fans since its inception and its strong numbers on TRP charts just prove its popularity.

Apart from the engaging storyline, what has kept the audience glued to their TV screens is the crackling chemistry between the lead pair, Rudra and Preesha. The show was recently in the news for the re-entry of actor Altamash Faraz as Armaan Thakur.

The latest we hear is that the makers are set to introduce a new character to spice up things on the show. A leading entertainment publication reports that actress Preeti Chaudhary has been roped in to play an important role on the show.

A source in the know informs the publication that Preeti will play the character of Rudraksh’s friend in the show. Other details of her character are still under the wraps.
