Sangita Ghosh to front the cast of Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta’s next on Colors?

Power couple Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta are presently basking in the runaway success of their maiden production venture Udaariyaan. The show, which went on air in the month of March, has been performing exceptionally well on TRP charts ever since its launch. It is currently among the top 5 shows on Indian television.

Buoyed up by the terrific response that Udaariyaan has generated among the audience, Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta are set to produce yet another show under their production house, Dreamiyata Entertainment Private Limited. And just like Udaariyaan, their upcoming offering will also air on Colors.

The latest update on the untitled show suggests that Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta have approached talented actress Sangita Ghosh to play the female lead. Ghosh is a well-known name in the television industry and has been part of several notable shows such as Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand and Parvarrish - Season 2. She was most recently seen in Divya Drishti in which she essayed a negative character.

Not much else is known about the forthcoming show now, but a media outlet reports that it will be on the lines of the Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini starrer Baghban (2003). A major portion of the show will be shot in Chandigarh.
