Star Plus keen to bring Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif as a couple on Smart Jodi

According to reports, Star Plus is trying to woo Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif to appear on their upcoming reality show Smart Jodi.

The couple, who walked down the aisle in December 2021 after dating each other briefly, has been flooded with offers for special appearances. However, they so far have declined all offers.

“Star Plus is keen to bring Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif as a couple on the show. This will be their debut on Indian TV and get the channel the needed eyeballs,” a source in the know informs an entertainment portal.

The source adds, “They have approached Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif for the same. They want them to come as celebrity guests as one of the starting episodes of Smart Jodi.”

If reports are to be believed, Smart Jodi will feature several famous power couples. Bhagyashree and her husband Himalaya Dasani, Rahul Mahajan and his wife Natalya Ilina, Neil Bhatt and Aishwarya Sharma, Arjun Bijlani and his wife Neha Swami Bijlani, and many such couples will be seen on the forthcoming show.

Smart Jodi will be hosted by Maniesh Paul. Excited Paul says, “What instantly drew me to the show was its novel, interesting concept. Through the course of my career so far, I have been associated with various reality shows, movies, and projects, I thoroughly enjoy hosting as much as I love acting and over the years, I have developed a certain penchant for any content that is unique and entertaining.”
