Sumona Chakravarti on the case registered against Ranveer Singh’s sensational nude shoot; Says her modesty was not insulted

Actor Ranveer Singh recently shared a few images on his social media from his nude photo shoot. The images have since gone viral. Many fans appreciated the actor's bold choice while others hated and were unpleasant about the situation. Two FIRs have been registered against Ranveer Singh for allegedly hurting women’s sentiments. Actor Sumona Chakravarti took to social media to call out the absurdity of such allegations.

The actor is currently on tour with The Kapil Sharma Show team. She has been active on social media by posting about the places she is travelling to. She recently took to her social media to share a post about the FIR against Ranveer Singh for hurting the sentiments of women. She captioned the post as “I’am a WOMAN. Neither is my modesty insulted nor my sentiments hurt.”

The FIR has been filed against Ranveer under IPC Sections 292 (Sale, etc of obscene books, etc) 293, 509 and sections of the IT Act invoked at Mumbai’s Chembur Police Station.

Several Bollywood personalities have come to the actor's defence. Arjun Kapoor recently said if Ranveer is comfortable with his body, people shouldn’t enforce their opinions on him.
