Udaariyaan star Ankit Gupta elated to see how well his character has shaped up on the show

Popular television star Ankit Gupta is busy receiving overwhelming response for his performance in Colors’ hit show Udaariyaan. Produced by Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta, the soap opera has been keeping audiences totally hooked for several months now.

Gupta plays the male lead on Udaariyaan and the audience has grown very fond of his character lately. In fact, after the last few episodes, fans have gone on to say that his character is the only reason they are watching the show.

The actor is ecstatic to see how well his character has evolved over the months, making the audience fall in love with Fateh. “I am enjoying the current track; there is so much to do, so much to perform. After a very, very long time, I have gotten to do something like this since briefly, there was not much for me to do,” he says.

Reacting to fans’ response, he added, “Yes, I have been seeing this on social media how people are writing that my character is the only reason they are watching the show, but I do not think it is like that. The audience says whatever they like. They love to watch their favourite characters grow and that’s what is happening with Fateh’s character and they are enjoying it more and hence all that love.”

In addition to Ankit Gupta, Udaariyaan also features Isha Malviya, Priyanka Choudhary, and Karan Grover in significant roles.
