Aahana S Kumra joins Amit Sadh on the cast of Avrodh 2

Actress Aahana S Kumra has been cast to play an important role in the upcoming streaming show Avrodh 2, as per reports. The show marks the second season of the successful SonyLIV series Avrodh, which came out in 2020 and received a great response from the audience.

Kumra will be joining actor Amit Sadh on the cast of Avrodh 2. In addition to them, the show also features Vikram Gokhale, Neeraj Kabhi, Darshan Kumar, Ananth Narayan Mahadevan, and Madhurima Tuli in pivotal roles. Director Raj Acharya, who earlier directed the first season of the show, returns to helm the second season.

Aahana S Kumra, who began her acting career with a short film called Mai (2009), is known for playing notable characters in such successful Bollywood films as Lipstick Under My Burka (2017), The Accidental Prime Minister (2019), and Khuda Haafiz (2020).

She is currently waiting for the release of her next film Shamshera. Produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films, the dacoit drama also stars Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Vaani Kapoor, Ashutosh Rana, Ronit Roy, and Saurabh Shukla. The film is scheduled for its theatrical bow in July 2022.
