Recently a source informed, "The makers of Disney+ Hotstar's Taaza Khabar want to ensure they give viewers what they desire. Since the first season has done exceptionally well, they wish to present the next season soon. They do not want to keep the audience waiting. Currently, scripting for the second installment has begun. The filming will commence this year." This gives confirmation about Taaza Khabar's second season.

Taaza Khabar's first season is an Indian fantasy comedy thriller miniseries. It was written by Abbas Dalal and Hussain Dalal and directed by Himank Gaur. Taaza Khabar, produced by Rohit Raj and Bam under the latter's banner, BB Ki Vines Production. The show's first season stars Bhuvan Bam, Shriya Pilgaonkar, J. D. Chakravarthy, Deven Bhojani, Prathamesh Parab, Nitya Mathur, and Shilpa Shukla. It is the story of Vasant "Vasya" Gawade, a sanitation worker who comes across magic powers and creates curls in his life and everyone around him. Before this show, Bhuvan Bam made his acting venture with Dhindora and found favor among the masses.
