Pratik Gandhi to headline an espionage drama set at Netflix

Pratik Gandhi, who became a household name after the riotous success of his streaming show Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story (2020), has received tons of offers over the past two years. He has already signed a few films and will soon be seen in a web-show titled The Great Indian Murder, co-starring Richa Chadha.

The latest we hear is that Gandhi has signed yet another high-profile web series for the streaming media giant Netflix. Titled For Your Eyes Only, the series will see Gandhi playing the role of an intelligence officer.

Sumit Purohit, who wrote Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story, has come onboard to helm the series. It will be produced by Bombay Fables Motion Pictures. The team is looking at taking the show on floors in June. Set in the 1970s, the show will be shot across three countries.

Meanwhile, Gandhi is looking forward to the premiere of The Great Indian Murder, which is set at Disney+ Hotstar. Based on Vikas Swarup’s bestselling novel Six Suspects, the series is helmed by Tigmanshu Dhulia and produced by Ajay Devgn and Priti Vinay Sinha. It is slated to start streaming from February 4, 2022.

Gandhi also has some exciting films on his platter, including Woh Ladki Hai Kahaan, Atithi Bhooto Bhava, and Dedh Bigha Zameen.
