Reema Kagti and Ruchika Oberoi's next web series for Prime Video, Dahaad, will compete in February 2023's Berlin International Film Festival. The web series would be the first from India to compete in the festival. The Berlinale Series Competition has chosen Dahaad, a series starring Sonakshi Sinha, Vijay Varma, Gulshan Devaiah, and Sohum Shah.

Story of Dahaad

A small, peaceful town in Rajasthan serves as the setting for the show. Sub-inspector Anjali Bhaati and her colleagues at the police station are the stars of an eight-part, slow-burning crime drama that follows them as they investigate a puzzling case. Sub-Inspector Anjali Bhaati is given the responsibility of looking into a string of inexplicable deaths of women that occur in public restrooms. Anjali starts to have suspicions about a serial killer on the loose as the cases develop, even if the murders at first seem to be obvious suicides. She pieces together the evidence before another innocent woman loses her life in the ensuing gripping game of cat and mouse between a seasoned criminal and an underdog cop.
