One of the most adorable couples of Tinsel town, Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar, who have been dating since 2018, finally tied the knot on February 19th, 2022 at Akhtar's parents' home in Khandala in an intimate affair. Farhan's Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011) co-star Hrithik Roshan was also invited. The two shook a leg on their dance number Senorita from the film and recreated its hook steps. The video quickly surfaced around the Internet and fans are going crazy!
In the video, Farhan Akhtar and Hrithik Roshan are seen grooving together on the popular song track. Farhan is sporting an all black wedding outfit with a black blazer, black shirt and matching trousers whereas Hrithik is seen donning a white sherwani with a baby pink overcoat. The guests are seen cheering in the background as the two perform on the song.
Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara was released in 2011. The movie starred Farhan Akhtar, Hrithik Roshan, Abhay Deol, Katrina Kaif and Kalki Koechlin in lead roles. Farhan and Hrithik played old friends Imran and Arjun in the film. "So wholesome," one viewer said about the video. "Friendship goals," stated another. "Arjun and Imran always," one fan wrote.
A source close to India today revealed that Farhan and Shibani wanted to have a basic wedding. A nikah or a Marathi wedding will not take place. Instead, they decided to have a private vow ceremony. On 19th February, the wedding took place at Javed Akhtar's Khandala residence Sukoon. Farah Khan, Rhea Chakraborty, Satish Shah, Ashutosh Gowariker, and Ritesh Sidhwani were among the celebs who attended. The guest list also included Shibani's sisters Anusha and Apeksha Dandekar, as well as her best friend Rhea Chakraborty.
