Ameesha Patel reacts to dating rumours with Faisal Patel

Ameesha Patel, known for such successful films as Kaho Na Pyaar Hai (2000) and Gadar: Ek Prem Katha (2001), is presently busy shooting Gadar 2 with Sunny Deol and Utkarsh Sharma.

On the personal front, Patel has not found her Mr right yet. She, however, has a bunch of good friends, one of them being Faisal Patel. The two have been thick friends for several years now. Recently, Patel had left a marriage proposal for the actress on social media. While some thought that Patel wrote so in complete jest, others were quick to jump at conclusions that the two are a thing and dating.

Reacting to dating rumours, Ameesha Patel recently told a publication that the two are just friends and have known each other for a long time.

“It is hilarious! Faisal and I go back a long way. We have known each other for years. I am friends with him and his sister. That message was just an internal joke between us. There is nothing more to it. I am single and I am happy being single. I am not interested in being in a relationship right now. Faisal is someone who loves to crack these jokes,” she told the publication.

Well, we hope that it is all clear now that the two are just friends and nothing more than that.
