The couple wedded in a private ceremony with only close friends and family present. Recently, Athiya and Rahul visited the Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain after getting married to seek prayers.

Recently, cricket player KL Rahul and actress Athiya Shetty went to the Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. Online images of the couple praying inside a temple appeared in multiple photos. Athiya wore a mustard saree while KL Rahul wore a cream suit for the visit. Athiya may be seen praying with her hands folded and Rahul standing behind her with his eyes closed in the picture. The couple is seen presenting flowers to the deity in another picture. The visit occurs a few days before Team India's third Test against Australia, which will be held in Indore on March 1.
