Chunky Panday has responded to Liger, a dismal failure; here’s what he said about Ananya’s film choices!
Chunky Panday discusses the failure of Liger in an exclusive interview with IndiaToday.in. He revealed that Ananya, his daughter, is aware of the entertainment industry.

The Ananya Panday and Vijay Deverakonda-starring film Liger bombed miserably at the box office. Despite all the fanfare, the movie didn't live up to expectations. With Liger, Vijay also made his Bollywood debut. In the movie, Ananya and Chunky Panday both made their acting debuts.

Chunky revealed, “It is with any film. An actor gives 100 per cent to the film, you promote it, and things go wrong, you feel devastated obviously. But you have to live with it and you move on. It is a tricky business and I think Ananya is aware of this. These are things that happen.” He said Ananya understands the hazards involved in show business fairly well. “What you expect to be 100 percent might not be that and what you thought to be zero can be 100 percent, that is what showbiz is about. Never underestimate or overestimate anything.”
Chunky Panday on Liger’s Failure
He further said about Liger's failure, “Liger was a film, it was a multi-language film, which was promoted very well too and had great music. The outcome of a film: There are almost 400 people working on it. As actors, you only see portions of it, you don’t know what is happening. So, we never know what the end result will be. You must take it the way it comes. You have to move on.”

In August of this year, Liger was released in theatres. Chunky has been experimenting with various film genres and media recently on the work front. He most recently appeared in Sardaar, a Tamil movie.
