Deepika Padukone jets off to Hyderabad to begin the second schedule of Project K

Deepika Padukone, who has a slew of exciting projects in the pipeline, was on Monday spotted at the Mumbai airport leaving for Hyderabad. She is set to begin the second schedule of her much-anticipated sci-fi film, tentatively titled Project K. The actress looked gorgeous as she left the city dressed in a green jacket and matching pants with a white t-shirt.

The upcoming film also stars Prabhas and superstar Amitabh Bachchan in lead roles. While Padukone has worked with Bachchan in Piku (2015), Project K marks her maiden collaboration with Baahubali star Prabhas. Fans are excited to see them together sharing the screen space for the first time ever.

Not much else is known about the upcoming film at the moment, but some media outlets report that it is based on the concept of time traveling. The film has also made headlines for its humongous budget. According to reports, the makers have allocated a whooping budget of ₹500 for the production of the film.

The project, directed by Nag Ashiwn, is being produced by Vyjayanthi Movies. It is expected to arrive in cinemas next year in 2023.
