Dunki: Shah Rukh Khan To POSTPONE His Another Upcoming Film In This Years? Here's What We Know!

Shah Rukh Khan is having a dream run at the box office in 2023 with his films 'Pathaan' and 'Jawan' both becoming blockbusters. 'Jawan' has already grossed over Rs 665 crores in just seven days, and is expected to continue to do well in the coming weeks.

This has led to speculation that the makers of 'Dunki,' Khan's next film with Rajkumar Hirani, may push the release date to 2024. The film is currently scheduled to release in December 2023, but the makers are concerned that it may be too much of a good thing to have three Khan films released in one year.

A source said, "This year SRK's 'Pathaan' and 'Jawan' are record-breaking blockbusters. A third film makes no sense." They feel it is more sensible to give fans some time to cool off after the mammoth successes of these two films.

The source also added that the makers are considering releasing 'Dunki' in early 2024, when there is less competition from other big-ticket releases. The month of December 2023 is already packed with a number of big films, including Ranbir Kapoor's 'Animal'.

The final decision on the release date of 'Dunki' will be taken by the makers soon. However, it is clear that they are keen to avoid overexposure of Khan at the box office.
