Fan posts picture with Deepika Padukone at the airport revealing how she interacted with his family

Actress Deepika Padukone garnered news for flying in economy on a recent flight. A fellow traveler posted a video of her and her bodyguard exiting the aircraft's restroom while fascinated spectators watched. Now, a fan who just encountered Deepika at the Los Angeles airport described the encounter with the star. After the actor had travelled for almost "16 hours," he tweeted a picture of himself and his mother standing with Deepika inside the airport.

On Thursday, a guy named, Varun Kumar Gurunath posted a photo of himself and his mother taking a selfie with Deepika on Instagram. He wrote, "Despite a 16-hour journey, she was so keen to meet with her fans." The picture was shared on his IG account and the caption read, “What an ending to a family trip. Many of you have been asking about this so here it goes. My mom went "that's someone!" And I said yeah that someone is Deepika Padukone! Deepika started the convo and asked if we had a good flight.”

His post read, “I congratulated her on Pathaan and she said "that's so sweet, thank you." We said safe travels and she said "You as well, and it was nice to meet you." Super friendly and extremely nice even with a quick interaction. Despite a 16 hour journey, she was so willing to meet with her fans. Exactly what you would imagine Queen Dee to be.”
