Shibani Dandekar and Farhan Akhtar are married now! The couple, who has been dating for a few years now, married on Saturday in an intimate ceremony at Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi’s Khandala farmhouse -Sukoon. Several photos of the bride and groom have gone viral on social media. Farhan and Shibani look stunning together in the photos that have gone viral as they exchange vows as husband and wife.
Shibani looked stunning in a red off-the-shoulder gown on her wedding day. She finished off her stunning bridal look with a matching red veil. Farhan, on the other hand, looked sharp in a black tuxedo and shades.
On Thursday, Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar began their wedding festivities with a Mehendi ceremony in Mumbai. The event was held at Farhan's Mumbai home.
Shibani, who dressed in yellow for the occasion, danced the night away with her friends and family. She danced to Ranveer Singh's song 'Aankh Marey' from the film Simmba (2018). Sister, Anusha Dandekar, and friend, Rhea Chakraborty, on the other hand, sang ‘Mehendi Laga Ke Rakhna’ from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995).
Hrithik Roshan, Rakesh and Pinky Roshan, Rhea Chakraborty, Amrita Arora, Ritesh Sidhwani, Ashutosh Gowariker, and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra were among those who attended the event.
Farhan and Shibani met on a reality show in 2015, after which they began dating. The couple announced their relationship on Instagram the same year before making it public at Ranveer and Deepika's wedding reception.
