Farhan Akhtar & Shibani Dandekar to get married on February 21

This is the wedding season for Bollywood. After Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal walked down the aisle in December, now Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar are all set to get married in the month of February.

The couple has been dating for three years and is in a live-in relationship. They will reportedly register their marriage on February 21 in Mumbai.

“Wedding was on the cards for the two of them, as they have been in love for the longest time now," a source close to the couple said.

They have been discussing wedding plans for a while now and have finally decided to take things to the next level. On February 21, their relationship will take a new turn, as they will take the formal vows to be partners for life.

The couple have booked a five-star hotel for the wedding. The ceremony will be an intimate affair witnessed by only close friends and family.

On the work front, Farhan is currently prepping for his directorial, Jee Le Zara, which rides on an ensemble of three A-Listers – Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra, and Alia Bhatt. The movie is slated to go on floors in the second half of 2022, as the makers plan to release it sometime next year.

It’s set to be a buddy film, with the three protagonists on a road trip in India. Other details have been kept under wraps for the time being. Jee Lee Zara marks the return of Farhan Akhtar to direction over a decade after Don 2 (2011).
