Following The Failure Of Love Aaj Kal, Sara Ali Khan Requested That Aanand L Rai To REPLACE Her In Atrangi Re, His Reaction Is UNMISSABLE!

With the release of Kedarnath in 2018, Sara Ali Khan made her significant Bollywood debut. She appeared in Simmba with Ranveer Singh after receiving praise for her work in the film. Despite the fact that Sara had a successful year, the actress didn't have a good year in 2019. The actress recently acknowledged that while filming Imtiaz Ali's Love Aaj Kal, she was in her own "la-la land."

Sara discussed how her personality had altered in 2019 during an interview with Film Companion. She continued by discussing the failure of Love Aaj Kal and her desire to be changed in Atrangi Re.

In the interview, Sara Ali Khan stated that she requested that Atrangi Re director Aanand L Rai take her position. The director, however, only had wise counsel to offer her.

"If you fall, you do not just get up, but you get up and run. This is the kind of film in which you can either play on the back foot or give it your all, I request you to do the latter," he told Sara.

The actress further recalled how she was far away from reality back in 2019. "There is a difference between being candid and being gregarious, I very often crossed that line. It won’t be false to say I was in a la-la land in 2019, which is why my work was not rooted in reality, even sometimes, my behaviour was not rooted in reality," she added.

Sara Ali Khan's upcoming film, Gaslight, will be her next appearance on the career. Alongside Chitrangda Singh and Vikrant Massey, the actor will appear. On March 31, 2023, the movie will be broadcast on Disney+ Hotstar.
