Is Katrina miffed about Ranbir Kapoor's guest appearance in Vicky Kaushal-starrer Govinda Naam Mera?

Director Shashank Khaitan's Govinda Naam Mera, which stars Vicky Kaushal, Kiara Advani and Bhumi Pednekar, reportedly features Barfi! actor (2012) Ranbir Kapoor in a special appearance. While this may come as a surprise for Ranbir fans, it apparently hasn't gone down well with Vicky's wifey dearest Katrina who isn't happy about her ex-boyfriend appearing in her husband's film.

"Katrina Kaif is not too pleased with Ranbir Kapoor making a cameo in actor-husband Vicky Kaushal’s next, Govinda Naam Mera," a source, on the condition of anonymity, revealed.

Notably, Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor got romantically involved during the filming of Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani (2009). In August 2013, photographs of Ranbir and Katrina holidaying in Ibiza were leaked by Stardust magazine, which were interpreted as confirmation of their relationship.

After the appearance of the pictures, Kaif published an open letter stating that she was "upset, distressed and invaded" by the breach of privacy. After dating for many years, the couple reportedly parted ways in 2016.

Katrina later married Vicky Kaushal on 9 December 2021 at Six Senses Resort, Fort Barwara in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. Their wedding was the subject of wide media coverage in India.

On the other hand, Ranbir Kapoor started dating Alia Bhatt in 2018 while filming for Brahmastra: Part One Shiva. He married Alia on 14 April 2022 in a private ceremony in Mumbai. In June 2022, the couple announced that they are expecting their first child.
