Kartik Aaryan finally speaks out about his rumored relationship with Sara Ali Khan

Kartik Aaryan’s much-anticipated film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 (2022) is garnering positive reviews from critics and audiences alike. This is Kartik’s first big-screen release post-pandemic. Imtiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal (2020) alongside Sara Ali Khan was his last theatrical release. It was rumored that the duo was romantically linked while shooting this film, and the two were in a relationship.

Both of them, however, did not acknowledge or deny their relationship. Nevertheless, the two had broken up just weeks before the film's release. They even unfollowed each other on Instagram. While promoting Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Kartik finally broke his silence on the Sara Ali Khan linkup rumour.

When asked if the link-ups were a promotional stunt for their film, Kartik replied, "No, no. There was nothing promotional there. How do I explain this? No dear, I mean, we are humans as well. Not everything is promotional. This is all that I will say on this topic."

During an episode of Koffee With Karan, Sara admitted to having a crush on Kartik Aaryan. Her Simmba (2018) co-star Ranveer Singh introduced the two, and fans were excited when they were signed for a film together. Kartik and Sara would even meet and hang out.

Sara and Kartik were seen together at an event earlier this month. Their pictures went viral on social media in no time.
