Kartik Aaryan rubbishes pay hike rumours post success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2

Kartik Aaryan has finally arrived! The actor is basking in the success of his latest release Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which is running to packed theatres across the nation. The movie has also become Kartik's biggest hit to date, leaving behind his past releases like Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (2018), Luka Chuppi (2019), and Pati Patni Aur Woh (2019).

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, directed by Anees Bazmee and starring Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, Tabu, and Rajpal Yadav, has successfully ended the dry run of Bollywood films at the box office. The horror-comedy has grossed over Rs 100 crore at the ticket windows in just nine days of release, which is a commendable feat.

Post the massive success, reports surfaced that Kartik Aaryan has hiked his fees. However, the actor has rubbished all the claims, calling them untrue and baseless.

Responding to one such query on Twitter, Kartik wrote, “Promotion hua hai life mein increment nahi. Baseless.”

On the professional front, Kartik Aaryan will next star in a remake of the Telugu film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo (2020), titled Shehzada, and in Shashanka Ghosh's romantic thriller Freddy.

He has also committed to star in Om Raut's yet-untitled action film and in the Sajid Nadiadwala-produced romance saga Satyanarayan Ki Katha. Besides, Aaryan will also collaborate with Hansal Mehta in the social drama Captain India, in which he will play an air force officer.
